Jorge Luis Colón graduated with a B.A. degree in 1998 from the University of Central Florida and a Juris Doctorate in 2002 from University of Florida. During his time in law school, he clerked for the Honorable Jonathan Ohlman, District B and completed an internship at the State Attorney's Office, Under Bill Cervone, both in Gainesville.

Impressive experience

Upon graduation, Mr. Colón joined the law firm of McConnaughhay, Duffy, Coonrod, Pope & Weaver, P.A. where he primarily focused his practice in the area of insurance defense litigation. While at McConnaughhay, Mr. Colón represented multi-million dollar insurance companies.

The current practice

In 2005, Mr. Colón started the law firm of Jorge Luis Colón, P.A. and has been representing litigants in court in various areas of law. Most days, Mr. Colón can be found in court doing what he loves most: zealously fighting for his clients.
